In recent weeks the Laredo Heat hosted an Under 12 Identification Training for all the young soccer stars around the municipal area. Scrimmages were conducted for players to display their talents in hope of being added to the "Non-Pay-to-Play" roster this spring. Smiling faces from both players and families in attendance made the Showcase enjoyable from the spectators and coaching perspective; soccer truly belongs to those young at heart. Children who make the team are granted a free uniform, club tuition, and the chance to play without league fees. The participation in last weeks tryout promises an optimistic year for the U12  division.
